Project Manager - Infrastructure
On-site | Austin, TX | Contract
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a specialty in new building design. You will serve as the lesion between stakeholders, executive management, network engineers, vendors, and other cross-functional team members to ensure project efficiency and delivery.
Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle, from inception through operational readiness. This includes managing timelines, resources, and budgets effectively.
Collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Create clear, detailed documentation to articulate solutions and designs for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding project status, challenges, and milestones.
Deliver results with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a relevant field preferred (or equivalent experience and expertise)
Proven ability to lead projects and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent documentation skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with data center operations, infrastructure management, and relevant technologies.
PMP certification and knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies are highly desirable.
