Job Description:
Project Manager (Contract)
Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager to support a global initiative focused on developing AI-enabled capabilities. This is a 6-month contract role with potential for extension based on project progress. The Project Manager will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure successful delivery.
Work Model
  • Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote
  • Acceptable onsite locations: St. Louis, MO or Atlanta, GA
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full project lifecycle from definition and scope through implementation
  • Drive and track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical requirements
  • Monitor program status and proactively address risks and dependencies
  • Identify, coordinate, and manage key project stakeholders
  • Own change management efforts, including communication, training, and documentation
  • Ensure consistent, timely communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Deliver projects on time and within defined scope
  • Serve as a hands-on individual contributor, owning both administrative and execution aspects of the program
Required Skills & Experience
  • 4-6 years of project or program management experience (flexible for strong candidates above or below this range)
  • Experience leading cross-functional, technical, or product-driven initiatives
  • Strong ability to manage projects that span multiple business teams and global stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven strengths in problem-solving, decision-making, planning, and execution
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
Technical & Tooling Experience
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, including Sheets
  • Experience with Excel preferred
  • Exposure to workflow or project tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Aha, or similar platforms is a plus
  • No specific AI tool experience required; focus is on workflow understanding and ability to bridge business and technical needs
Ideal Background
  • Experience delivering cross-functional technical programs
  • Technology-driven mindset with the ability to "talk the talk" with both business and technical audiences
  • Experience supporting global or enterprise-scale initiatives
