The Senior Enterprise Tools & Program Delivery Lead is a hands-on technical delivery professional responsible for administering and improving the enterprise platforms used by "customer" technology teams and program offices. The role leads technical and non-technical initiatives from intake through implementation, adoption, and operational support; translates business needs into practical tool configurations, workflows, dashboards, integrations, and support models; and helps teams use the available tool ecosystem effectively.
Working across a multi-platform ecosystem of collaboration, work-management, ticketing, reporting, and development tools, this role combines enterprise application administration, solution assessment, program and project delivery, customer support, training, and cross-team coordination. It is a senior individual-contributor lead role with significant workstream and stakeholder leadership and applies Agile methods where appropriate to support effective delivery and continuous improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Enterprise Tools Administration & Solutions
Configure and administer Jira projects and Confluence spaces, including workflows, fields, screens, permissions, automations, templates, dashboards, and reports; establish repeatable administration standards that support maintainability and consistent use.
Support and improve an enterprise tool ecosystem that includes Zendesk, Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI, GitHub, and related collaboration, ticketing, reporting, workflow, and development platforms based on program and project needs.
Assess current-state capabilities and business, technical, data, reporting, and support needs; recommend practical solutions through configuration, integration, workflow redesign, process change, platform consolidation, or new capabilities.
Design or coordinate cross-platform integrations using APIs, connectors, automation, data imports and exports, authentication, and single sign-on; document data flows, ownership, and operational support needs.
Set up tool environments for new program offices and project teams, including access, roles, licenses, baseline configurations, operating conventions, and transition to ongoing support.
Program & Project Delivery
Manage scope, schedules, resources, risks, dependencies, decisions, and deliverables across multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining clear plans and status information.
Coordinate enterprise deployments, migrations, enhancements, and operational changes across program offices, vendors, administrators, developers, analysts, security teams, and operations personnel.
Ensure projects are effectively planned, coordinated, documented, and delivered; address blockers, escalate issues, and implement practical corrective actions when conditions change.
Facilitate Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings and working sessions, coordinating dependencies and communication across teams, program offices, vendors, and separate tool environments.
Systems Support, Customer Service & Adoption
Manage or coordinate enterprise-tool support intake, triage, escalation, root-cause analysis, change coordination, customer communication, and knowledge management.
Onboard new program offices and project teams to enterprise tools, delivery processes, support channels, access models, and governance expectations.
Create training materials, presentations, user guides, standard operating procedures, knowledge articles, and quick-reference content for technical and non-technical audiences.
Conduct workshops, demonstrations, office hours, and role-based training; gather user feedback, identify adoption barriers, and improve tools, processes, and documentation.
Reporting, Analytics & Process Improvement
Develop and maintain operational and executive dashboards, status reports, decision summaries, and cross-program reporting that provide clear, actionable visibility.
Analyze project, service, and platform data to identify trends, risks, delivery constraints, support needs, and opportunities to improve adoption and customer experience.
Establish useful performance indicators appropriate to each project or service, such as schedule health, risks, request volume, response time, backlog health, cycle time, adoption, and customer feedback; interpret measures in context rather than relying on a single metric.
Identify and implement workflow, automation, data-quality, documentation, and service improvements based on analysis, feedback, post-project reviews, and lessons learned.
Stakeholder, Vendor & Governance Coordination
Serve as a liaison among technical teams, non-technical stakeholders, program offices, executive leadership, vendors, and contractors.
Prepare and present status updates, solution options, recommendations, risks, and decisions in a form appropriate for operational and executive audiences.
Coordinate with governance, security, privacy, accessibility, acquisition, and operations stakeholders to align solutions and delivery practices with applicable requirements.
