Role Summary
The Release Manager is responsible for coordinating cross-functional, multi-phase network implementation projects within a complex technology environment. This role involves managing the end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The Release Manager plays a key role in facilitating communication among stakeholders, managing risks, and ensuring adherence to change management policies, with a focus on delivering quality network solutions across various technology domains.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple interdependent network projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Coordinate network infrastructure delivery activities, including requirements gathering, planning, and execution, supporting data centers, branch networks, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and dependency trackers, proactively identifying risks and resolving conflicts.
  • Collaborate with engineering, implementation teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of network change initiatives, including WAN, LAN, optical, SDWAN, cloud, and virtualized services.
  • Lead change management processes by reviewing change requests (CRQs), conducting release readiness reviews, and facilitating CAB meetings.
  • Track and report status on project deliverables, escalating issues as needed, and providing proactive communication to senior leadership and all stakeholders.
  • Ensure all technical documentation, including release notes and testing reports, is accurately completed and maintained.
  • Manage the “end-to-end” release and deployment process, including prior to, during, and post-change windows, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project success, identify lessons learned, and ensure full compliance with organizational policies.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of networking technologies, processes, and business impacts, translating requirements into technical execution plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor''s degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance, or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting network projects, programs, or infrastructure delivery in a technical role.
  • Proven project management skills, including experience managing complex, multi-phase deployments within a financial or similarly regulated industry.
  • Strong understanding of network technologies such as WAN, LAN, optical systems, SDWAN, LTE, Cloud, and virtualized environments.
  • Industry certifications such as PMP, ITIL, and technical certifications like CCNA are highly preferred.
  • Experience with change management, CAB processes, and formal release/deployment procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across various teams and management levels.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.

Publishing Pay Range: $35.00 - $37.00 Hourly

This is a fully remote role and can be performed from an approved location.
