Role Overview
We are looking for a process engineer who combines strong technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person will be responsible for supporting the introduction and production ramp of new products at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a foundation in process engineering suited for both early-stage prototype builds and production-level assembly, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the introduction and production ramp of new products across various process and manufacturing/mechanical engineering tasks.
- Utilize process engineering skills for early-stage prototype builds and production-level assembly.
- Manage projects in a fast-paced environment with aggressive timelines and steep production ramp requirements.
- Design mechanical tooling and fixtures for assembly processes.
- Work with rapid prototype assembly and production tooling.
Required Qualifications
Education: BSc/MSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or equivalent.
Experience: Experience designing mechanical tooling and fixtures for assembly processes, with rapid prototype assembly, and with production tooling. Experience in project management is also required.
Technical Skills: Knowledge of MCAD software for 3D modeling and 2D drafting. Strong communication and writing skills are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Agile for PLM.
- Proficiency with Solidworks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Familiarity with mechanical stack-up analysis and Structural Load Analysis.
- Experience with engineering project management software such as JIRA, Agile, or other Agile tools.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay rate for this position is between $46.00 and $56.00 per hour.
