Daily Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor central material handling systems, including silos, vacuum conveying, and distribution systems
- Support and maintain material drying equipment, including systems such as Wittmann and Conair dryers
- Troubleshoot material flow issues, including feed loss, blockages, and vacuum faults
- Ensure accurate material usage, traceability, and process compliance
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and system checks to maintain optimal performance
- Assist with material trials, system setups, and process adjustments
- Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, uptime, and scrap reduction
- Work directly on the production floor to support molding and material operations
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience with material handling systems or plastic molding operations preferred
- Knowledge of resin handling and drying processes is a plus
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, production floor environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
