Position Overview

We are hiring a Business Analyst with hands-on experience in Physical Metals trading environments. This role will partner closely with trading desks, risk management, operations, and technology teams to drive system enhancements and process improvements across the metals value chain.

The selected candidate will be responsible for translating business needs into detailed functional requirements while supporting implementation and upgrade initiatives for trading systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with traders, risk analysts, schedulers, operations, and finance teams to understand end-to-end business workflows
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
• Prepare BRDs, FRDs, process diagrams, data mappings, and user stories
• Support the full trade lifecycle including deal capture, logistics coordination, pricing, inventory tracking, settlement, and invoicing
• Participate in ETRM/CTRM system implementation, configuration, and enhancements
• Coordinate and support UAT cycles and production releases
• Identify opportunities for operational efficiency and automation
• Ensure systems and processes align with regulatory and compliance standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within Physical Metals trading environments
• Strong understanding of physical trading workflows involving base and/or precious metals
• Solid knowledge of logistics, inventory management, pricing structures, and settlement processes
• Hands-on exposure to ETRM/CTRM platforms such as Openlink/Endur, Aspect, Allegro, Triple Point, or similar
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact across front, middle, and back-office teams
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with metals exchanges such as LME, CME, or COMEX
• Understanding of risk management concepts and P&L reporting
• SQL or data analysis experience
• Experience supporting global or multi-region trading desks
