As a Infrastructure Lab Engineer, you will support large-scale device lab environments that enable hardware and software development across multiple engineering teams. You will combine hands-on lab operations, automation, infrastructure management, and technical troubleshooting to ensure devices remain healthy, available, and ready for testing. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex operational challenges, improve system reliability, and develop scalable solutions that enhance both engineering productivity and customer outcomes.\nIdentifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency through automation, telemetry, and data-driven insights\nSupporting AI-assisted and automated workflows that improve device health, recovery outcomes, deployment verification, and overall lab reliability\nLeveraging operational metrics and analytics to identify bottlenecks and drive scalable operational improvements
2-3+ years of experience supporting software services in a Unix-based environment\nExposure to automated provisioning processes\nBasic scripting experience in Shell or Python\nFamiliarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or similar\nWorking knowledge of Git or other source control systems\nExperience contributing to shared repositories and collaborative development workflows\nStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams\nWillingness to learn and apply structured problem-solving approaches\nStrong attention to detail and a service-oriented mindset
Experience working in fast-paced engineering environments\nExposure to working with service-based systems and RESTful services\nBasic understanding of LAN networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, routing)\nExperience working in structured lab environments with high-density hardware deployments\nExperience supporting macOS and/or iOS devices in a lab environment\nFamiliarity with device provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management\nExperience troubleshooting hardware, software, and infrastructure issues
