About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Technical Product Owner to lead technology product teams responsible for delivering innovative, scalable, and business-critical solutions. This role serves as the bridge between business strategy and technical execution, providing product vision, roadmap ownership, development oversight, and operational leadership for a portfolio of applications and systems.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in software development lifecycle management, Agile methodologies, product strategy, and people leadership. They will drive product delivery, ensure alignment with business objectives, and lead cross-functional teams to build and enhance technology solutions that create measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Leadership
  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and technology roadmaps for assigned products and platforms.
  • Lead and mentor product teams, ensuring successful execution of initiatives and alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Provide regular product status updates, progress reporting, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and operational improvements.
Product Delivery & Agile Management
  • Own product backlogs, prioritization, roadmap execution, and release planning activities.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into actionable user stories and technical solutions.
  • Facilitate Agile practices, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative product development.
  • Remove blockers and address risks to ensure timely delivery of product enhancements and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize product quality, performance, and team effectiveness.
Technology & Operational Oversight
  • Oversee all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including planning, development, testing, deployment, and support.
  • Ensure compliance with development standards, security requirements, governance policies, and operational controls.
  • Monitor product health, system performance, and adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Stay informed of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to improve product capabilities and technical strategy.
  • Support system implementations, upgrades, and business-critical technology initiatives.
Team Management
  • Manage, develop, and coach product and technical team members.
  • Conduct performance management activities, including hiring, development planning, coaching, promotions, and performance evaluations.
  • Establish and improve operational processes, procedures, and team standards.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-driven, and customer-focused team culture.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing business-critical applications, products, or technology platforms.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Product Manager, Technical Product Owner, IT Manager, or similar leadership role.
  • Experience managing the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum practices, and product delivery frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams and drive successful technology initiatives.
  • Experience with backlog management, release planning, roadmap development, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a business services, financial services, or enterprise technology environment.
  • Experience leading customer-facing and mission-critical applications.
  • Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or related product management certifications.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud technologies, and enterprise application development.
