Senior Full Stack Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a growing technology-driven organization in Lansing, MI is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to contribute to the design, development, and optimization of scalable software solutions. The team values analytical thinking, clear communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using modern frameworks and technologies
* Build and integrate RESTful microservices to support scalable system architecture
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing efficient and sustainable resolutions
* Optimize application performance through profiling and JVM tuning
* Contribute to code quality, testing, and continuous improvement practices
* Participate in architectural discussions and provide forward-looking technical insights

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 8 years of experience in full stack development
* Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java EE
* Experience building RESTful microservices (e.g., Jersey or similar frameworks)
* Solid understanding of relational databases, including SQL and PL/SQL, with experience in Oracle environments
* Front-end development experience with Angular, TypeScript, and Node.js
* Proficiency in HTML and CSS
* Deep understanding of JVM internals and performance profiling
* Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
* Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar)
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
* Experience working in Unix/Linux environments and writing shell scripts
* Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker
* Experience with caching technologies such as Memcached or Redis
* Familiarity with authentication protocols such as SAML
* Experience with the Spring Framework

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
