We''re hiring a Data Platform Engineer join our team in Richmond, VA, or Columbia, SC. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with 50% onsite work required Tuesday through Thursday.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 7 years as a systems analyst supporting data analytics, data warehousing, and data science initiatives
- 7 years of hands-on experience writing complex SQL queries for analytical and reporting workloads
- 3 years of experience:
- Designing data marts with strong expertise in dimensional modeling (facts, dimensions, star/snowflake schemas)
- Designing and developing Power BI dashboards and reports
- Experience identifying and improving data engineering workflows, analytics lifecycle processes, and end-to-end data delivery using DataOps principles
Key Responsibilities:
- Create systems models, specifications, diagrams, and documentation to guide technical implementation
- Coordinate and execute thorough testing, including end-user validation for new and enhanced systems
- Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports
- Provide training and orientation
- Create and deliver clear, effective presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
Education/Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
The hourly range for this position is $79.96.
