Senior Middleware Engineers

Senior Middleware Engineers for Randstad Digital, LLC. Multiple openings. Headquarters: Woburn, MA. Perform end-to-end and administration duties for banking platforms, and develop middleware infrastructure for enterprise projects and regulatory initiatives, and topology for high availability and failover capability. Review production stability, remediation, patching, upgrades, risk mitigation, middleware engineering, installation, configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting, policy and baseline standards, business requirements, SDLC, production changes. Collaborate with customers, create application deployment templates and SSL certificates, recommend best practices. Maintain documentation, analyze client/user needs, formulate test and validation plans. Use Java, J2EE, Linux, webMethods, Appian, Apache, Spring Boot, Jboss, WebSphere, WebLogic, Tomcat, Shell, Python, Jython, Ansible, Ansible Tower, JDBC, JNDI, JMS, XLR, BitBucket, Celestial. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years experience in the proffered position or as a Developer, Software Engineer, Technology Analyst, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in the specified fields plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the specified occupations. Must have 2 years of experience performing administration, patching, upgrades, installation, configuration, performance tuning, troubleshooting; developing and supporting middleware infrastructure; creating SSL certificates; using Java, J2EE, Linux, Apache, WebSphere, Tomcat, JDBC, JNDI, JMS. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time. Telecommuting permitted. $146,807 to $146,850/yr.
