5+ years of experience in designing and implementing Business Process Management (BPM) solutions using Camunda

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Camunda Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise-level workflow automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Camunda BPM (7/8), Java, and Spring Boot, and will play a key role in building scalable, event-driven process automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Camunda BPMN 7/8 workflows integrated with Java and microservice-based backends.
  • Implement decision models (DMN) to automate operational logic such as eligibility checks and compliance workflows.
  • Integrate Camunda processes with REST APIs, event-driven systems (Kafka/AWS SNS/SQS), and front-end components.
  • Lead sprint-level architecture and technical design for workflow automation solutions.
  • Build and optimize deployment pipelines for Camunda clusters using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Monitor and improve workflow performance using Camunda Cockpit / Operate tools.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Strong proficiency in Core Java (11+), Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate
  • Hands-on experience with Camunda BPM 8 (Zeebe engine), Tasklist, and Operate
  • Experience with REST API integration and cloud-native orchestration
  • Familiarity with Kafka, AWS Cloud, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Git CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice architecture
  • Prior experience in healthcare or claims workflow automation is a plus
