Business Analyst/Product Owner - Risk & Compliance Digital Products (Electronic Communications - eComms)
Project:
eComm (Electronic Communications) Supervision initiative within a Financial Supervision/Compliance organization, it is focused on monitoring, reviewing, and supervising advisor communications across email, social media, and other electronic channels to meet FINRA and SEC regulatory requirements.
From a project perspective, the objective is to reduce regulatory and conduct risk by centralizing and modernizing communications surveillance, improving automation, and strengthening oversight of advisor digital communications.
Overview
Product Owner to lead and evolve a portfolio of products supporting the Risk & Compliance organization's digital transformation strategy. This role partners across business and technology teams to deliver scalable, client-focused solutions that improve operational efficiency, strengthen risk management capabilities, and advance strategic business objectives.
As the voice of the product, you will define priorities, manage the product backlog, align stakeholders around a shared vision, and ensure delivery teams build solutions that maximize business value. You will work closely with Product Managers, technology teams, and business leaders to translate strategy into execution and measurable outcomes.
What You'll Do
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define product vision, strategy, and priorities.
Collaborate with Product Managers to develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned to organizational goals.
Own and prioritize the product backlog, translating business needs into features and user stories.
Drive cross-functional collaboration throughout the product lifecycle to deliver high-impact solutions.
Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Agile delivery teams.
Define acceptance criteria and ensure delivered capabilities meet business requirements and quality standards.
Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, and expectation management.
Champion digital transformation initiatives that improve risk, compliance, and operational outcomes.
Develop executive-level reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics that support informed decision-making.
Support portfolio planning, budgeting, governance, and product performance reporting.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a collaborative, strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering innovative solutions and exceptional client experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen, product management expertise, and the ability to influence across diverse stakeholder groups.
Qualifications
Required
5+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, consulting, program management, or a related discipline.
3+ years of experience leading Agile product development teams.
Experience defining product strategy, prioritizing backlogs, and delivering business outcomes through Agile practices.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Experience working in complex, fast-changing environments.
Proficiency with Jira or comparable product management tools.
Preferred
Financial services, fintech, risk, compliance, or regulatory technology experience.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or comparable Agile certification.

This is a Contract position based out of Fort Mill, SC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
