Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Support Level 1 Specialist to join our team! In this role you will get to focus on providing excellent user support, assisting with day-to-day IT operations, and learning from more experienced team members.

This role will only be supporting externally facing customer platforms, and not internal Parsons IT systems.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Provide Tier 1 support for client platforms and not internal Parsons IT systems, including:
  • Windows 11 environments and Dell laptops.
  • Cisco Meraki infrastructure (basic troubleshooting of switches, wireless access points, etc.).
  • Microsoft 365 services: Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune MDM.
  • iOS device setup and management using Apple Business Manager.
  • Assist with monitoring IT systems and escalating issues to Level 2 support or senior team members as needed.
  • Support ticket resolution through Zendesk or similar platforms, ensuring timely responses and accurate documentation.
  • Help maintain IT documentation, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and knowledge base articles.
  • Perform basic asset management and inventory tracking.
  • Promote security best practices and assist with endpoint management.
  • Participate in training opportunities to develop technical skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of IT support experience or equivalent coursework/internship
  • experience.
  • Basic knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint,
  • Exchange).
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems like Zendesk or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the team.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Exposure to Cisco Meraki systems or similar networking tools.
  • Basic understanding of endpoint management tools like Microsoft Intune.
  • Familiarity with iOS device setup and management.
  • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA IT Fundamentals+, Microsoft MS-900).

Salary Range: $74,800.00 - $130,900.00
