Summary

Job Summary The MES Software Engineer / Technical Lead is responsible for defining, developing, implementing, and supporting standardized Siemens Opcenter (formerly Camstar) MES solutions across a global environment. This role collaborates with business leaders, users, and IT resources to deliver scalable manufacturing systems, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT practices and global project requirements. Key Responsibilities Esta blish best practices and develop architecture for manufacturing systems. Design and support systems in accordance with Client IT standards. Apply technical expertise with .NET, AJAX, T-SQL, SQL Server, and BI components. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Integrate ERP and MES with shop floor controls for complete plant solutions. Lead global projects ensuring timely development, documentation, and comm unication. Required Qualifications BS or MS in Computer Science, Systems Management, IT, or related field. Strong leadership and project management skills. 7+ years of experience with object-oriented programming (.NET, C#). Experience supporting IT systems in 24/7 manufacturing environments. In-depth knowledge of source code management systems (Git, TFVC, SVN). Strong understanding of relational databases. Knowledge of SDLC, TDD, CI/CD methodologies. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Siemens Opcenter MES modeling and Designer. Proven track record of implementing IT solutions that meet business demands. Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular framework. Experience working in Scrum/Agile teams. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently. Ability to influence decisions through critical thinking and strategic insight. Soft Skills Ability to work independently and without close supervision. Strong collaboration skills in multicultural teams. Effective communication with global internal customers. Self-motivated, accountable, and proactive in project execution. Certifications None required; certifications in MES, Agile, or software engineering practices are a plus. Education: Bachelors Degree
