Location: Dimondale, MI
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Onsite 2 5 days per week at manager's discretion; must be onsite from Day 1).

Core Responsibilities

Full-Stack Engineering: Design and develop applications using Java (Spring Boot) and modern frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
Microservices Architecture: Build and deploy scalable, cloud-native distributed systems and RESTful APIs.
DevOps Integration: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes; implement automated testing via TDD (JUnit, Selenium, Playwright).
Security & Identity: Implement advanced authentication frameworks including OAuth 2.0, SAML, and JWT.
Database Management: Optimize interactions with relational (Oracle, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases using Hibernate/JPA.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with product owners to define user stories in Jira and ensure technical alignment with business goals.

Required Experience & Skills

Professional Experience: 8 11 years as an Application Developer.
Core Java Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and Oracle/SQL Server.
Frontend Technologies: Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Cloud & Containers: Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platform deployment.
Messaging & Integration: Hands-on experience with IBM MQ or equivalent message queuing technologies.
Methodologies: Strong background in Agile/Scrum and DevOps practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven track record in identifying and resolving functional gaps in legacy versus emerging technologies.
Experience with automated testing platforms like Playwright.
Excellent analytical skills for troubleshooting complex, high-volume enterprise systems.
