Technical Support Analyst I
Key Responsibilities:
The role is responsible for analyzing telecommunications billing to uncover cost‑savings opportunities.
This position collaborates closely with site contacts, TEM vendor, and carriers to collect required data and develop recommendations to retain, replace, or disconnect services.
The role also manages project timelines, deliverables, and reporting to ensure successful execution of approved initiatives, while maintaining consistent communication with stakeholders by providing status updates and resolving issues as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience with legacy telecommunications services, including data circuits and analog dial tone, with demonstrated success in a telecommunications analyst or similar role.
Strong understanding of telecom billing, invoicing, and inventory management, with the ability to analyze complex data sets.
Self‑motivated and proactive, with proven problem‑solving skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Conduct analysis of analog telecommunications lines by location, usage, and billing; identify redundant services.
Collaborate with site contacts, vendors, and stakeholders to validate requirements.
Determine services requiring disconnection or replacement.
Update findings in appropriate tracking systems.
Manage timelines and execution of approved actions; and maintain clear, effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Disqualifier:
Candidates will not be considered for this position if they do not possess a minimum of ten years of relevant experience in the telecommunications or network industry or are unable to demonstrate a working understanding of legacy voice and network circuits.
