Summary

Job Title: IT Field Services Technician/Desktop Support Engineer

Location: Hammond, LA (Preferred) / Baton Rouge, LA

Work Category: Onsite (Travel to Onsite or nearby locations as needed)

Responsibilities:

Assist with desktop support tasks like software/hardware installs, upgrades, and basic troubleshooting.
Set up, relocate, and configure workstations, desktops, and laptops.
Troubleshoot and manage network or electrical cabling in tight spaces (e.g., under desks).
Install print drivers, software applications, and use remote support tools.
Handle ServiceNow tickets for requests and incidents.
Document all tasks accurately.
Support data transfers, IT asset recovery, and decommissioning.
Deliver great customer service onsite.

Required Skills:

5+ years of experience in IT/technical support.
Basic knowledge of Windows 10/11 and simple networks (LAN/WAN).
Comfort working in tight spaces and lifting up to 50 lbs. for IT equipment.
Strong communication skills for customers and teams.
Experience with ServiceNow or any ticketing system is a plus.
Willing to travel locally as needed:

For Little Rock, AR candidates: Nearby sites.
For Hammond, LA, candidates: Nearby sites and the Baton Rouge area.

A+ certification is recommended but not required.
