Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Spearhead the planning and execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, detailing project schedules, resource allocation, and potential risks and mitigation strategies.
3. Oversee construction planning, ensuring all aspects are in line with project requirements and regulations.
4. Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring the best possible terms for the company.
5. Manage project budgets, keeping a close eye on expenditures and making necessary adjustments to avoid cost overruns.
6. Monitor project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and making necessary adjustments to ensure project success.
7. Foster a collaborative project environment, encouraging open communication and effective teamwork.
8. Implement project management best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement.
9. Liaise with various departments and stakeholders, ensuring alignment of project objectives and company goals.
10. Resolve project-related issues promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal impact on project progress.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or PMP certification would be a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably within the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in construction planning, contract negotiation, and budget management.
4. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
5. Exceptional leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
6. Excellent negotiation skills, with a knack for securing favorable terms and conditions.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
9. Proficiency in project management software.
10. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
