HRIS Analyst (Austin, TX - Onsite for Training, Hybrid After)Required Skills & Experience- 3+ years HRIS administration experience supporting 1,000+ employees

- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data cleanup)
- Experience with open enrollment and/or year-end HRIS processes
- Ability to troubleshoot moderate-complex system/data issues
- Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and user training ability
- Highly organized, self-directed, able to manage multiple priorities
About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced
HRIS Analyst to support, maintain, and optimize our HR systems. This role combines system administration, reporting, data integrity, and process improvement while working closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesSystem Administration- Serve as primary admin for the HRIS
- Configure workflows, permissions, security roles, and business rules
- Manage job codes, compensation structures, and benefits setup
- Maintain system updates, patches, testing, and vendor support
Data Integrity & Compliance- Perform regular data audits and correct discrepancies
- Support secure data imports/exports and integrations
- Review employee change workflows for accuracy
- Assist with compliance reporting (EEO, VETS, ACA, etc.)
Reporting & Analytics- Build and automate dashboards and recurring reports
- Produce complex ad-hoc reporting for HR and leadership
- Provide insights on headcount, turnover, and workforce trends
User Support & Training- Act as first point of contact for HRIS questions
- Train HR, managers, and Payroll users on system features
- Maintain job aids, guides, and process documentation
Process Improvement- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and automation
- Support new modules, enhancements, and future HRIS initiatives
- Partner cross-functionally to standardize and improve processes
Work Expectations- Onsite during training; hybrid up to 2 days/week after
- Occasional evening/weekend work during system updates
- Travel up to 5%
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
