Gejits Infotech Inc is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and manage complex technical projects for a Florida State Agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, monitoring, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and delivery oversight while ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to established quality standards.
Required Qualifications
<>Project Management Experience>
Minimum of 8 years of experience developing and maintaining detailed project plans, including Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
Minimum of 8 years of experience leading and managing projects.
Current Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience using Microsoft Project or comparable project management software.
<>Communication & Reporting>
Minimum of 8 years of experience facilitating meetings and preparing meeting documentation.
Minimum of 8 years of experience creating and presenting executive-level status reports, including reports suitable for Steering Committees, executive leadership, and legislative audiences.
<>Financial & Budget Management>
<>Risk Management & Quality Assurance>
Minimum of 8 years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies and documentation.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in risk identification, mitigation planning, issue tracking, and resolution management.
Minimum of 8 years of experience managing project oversight activities, including Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V).
<>Project Delivery>
Minimum of 8 years of experience leading cross-functional business and technical teams.
Proven experience delivering projects on schedule, within approved budgets, and according to defined technical specifications and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Provide project management leadership for technical projects in accordance with Department policies and procedures.
Create, maintain, and refine detailed project plans and work breakdown structures.
Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and technical performance.
Lead business and technical project teams to achieve project objectives.
Assist with resource planning and allocation.
Coordinate communications among customers, users, stakeholders, vendors, and project teams.
Ensure project artifacts meet quality standards and follow Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices.
Conduct research and analysis related to business systems and technology initiatives.
Gather and document business requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing applications.
Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
Facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, execution, and documentation.
Prepare and deliver project status reports, executive briefings, and stakeholder communications.

Education
