Senior Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager in New York, NY.

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Program Management Office. This role leads high-visibility, complex technology projects with a strong focus on infrastructure, including networks, servers, VMs, security, databases, data integration, and EPIC-related prerequisites.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of large-scale IT projects
* Build project plans covering scope, schedule, budget, risks, and quality
* Oversee project teams, resources, and vendors while ensuring consistent progress
* Produce clear status reports and manage issues/risks to resolution
* Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams
* Mentor junior Project Managers and contribute to PMO best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* 8-10 years of IT project or program management experience
* Strong background in infrastructure and data center initiatives
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Experience with PM tools (MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
* The ideal candidate is a polished communicator, a strong leader, and a trusted advisor who brings seasoned project management expertise and a track record of successful delivery

Preferred Qualifications:
* PMP Certification (strongly preferred)
* Scrum Master Certification
* Experience in healthcare or hospital environments
* Background in Agile methodologies
* Experience coaching Junior PMs is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
