Role Overview
An experienced Workday Integration Specialist is sought to design, develop, and support integrations for Workday Human Capital Management and Payroll. This role involves working with a variety of internal and external customers to provide data to downstream applications. The position requires a candidate who can translate functional requirements into technical solutions and provide advanced problem-solving expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connect, Cloud Connect, and Studio) to meet business requirements.
- Develop custom reports and Reports-as-a-Service (RaaS).
- Manage data analysis and integration of disparate systems, including inbound payroll integrations and integrations to state systems.
- Gather requirements, create and update documentation, and perform testing.
- Provide problem-solving expertise and complex data analysis to develop quality integration designs.
- Lead project steps within a broader project and have accountability for ongoing objectives.
- Coach and mentor new and less experienced team members.
- Collaborate successfully with system users, internal clients, and developers.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. An equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or certifications may be substituted.
Experience: 5+ years of experience with Workday Integration Development, specifically using Studio.
Technical Skills:- Functional knowledge across the entire HCM suite, including Payroll and Recruiting.
- Experience with Workday technologies such as Web Service APIs (SOAP, REST), middleware, Cloud Connect, Core Connect, Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, XML/XSLT, BIRT, and Workday Report Writer tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Release Management via Kainos.
- Experience with Workday Extend and Orchestration for Integrations.
- Functional knowledge of Finance ERP systems.
- Experience with API testing tools like SOAPUI and Postman.
- Experience establishing and maintaining coding and deployment best practices.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Workday Integration developer certifications (EIBs, Studio, core connectors).
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is from $111,000.00 to $147,961.00 annually. A benefits package is available to eligible employees.
