Employment type: Direct hire with a 2 year duration.
Role OverviewThis position manages, configures, and optimizes security protocols within the Workday HCM/Finance platform to ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance. The role involves designing security groups, maintaining domain and business process security policies, conducting audits, and managing user access. This is a new role that requires strong stakeholder collaboration and expertise in SOX compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain complex security roles and groups, including User-Based, Role-Based, and Intersection.
- Create and manage domain and business process security policies and rules.
- Administer daily user access requests, including provisioning and deprovisioning, adhering to service level agreements.
- Provide ongoing Workday security support and contribute to new security setups.
- Support internal and external audits, including SOX, HIPAA, and SOC2, and perform security configuration audits to ensure data integrity.
- Resolve complex security-related issues, access problems, and system bugs.
- Partner with HR, IT, and Finance teams to translate business requirements into effective Workday security solutions.
- Recommend and implement enhancements for security policies, procedures, and best practices.
Required QualificationsExperience: 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in Workday Security administration.
Technical Skills: A deep understanding of Workday domain security policies, security configuration, and business process security is required. Knowledge of reporting and calculated fields is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications- A degree in information technology or a related field.
- Workday Security certification or relevant cybersecurity credentials.
- Proven experience with security compliance standards such as SOX, GDPR, and HIPAA.
