We’re looking for a sharp, curious Financial Systems Analyst to be the connective tissue between our Finance & Accounting teams and the technology that powers them. You’ll own the health and evolution of our core financial systems—centered on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O)—while shaping the SQL Server and Power BI reporting ecosystem that keeps decision-makers informed.
This isn’t a passive support role. You’ll bring a critical eye for automation and improvement, collaborating daily with Data Engineering, Finance, our D365 developer, and the reporting team to turn business requirements into reliable, scalable solutions.
System Ownership & Administration
• Manage, monitor, and provide technical support for financial systems—including third-party integrations, patches, and upgrades.
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert and primary administrator for D365 F&O and connected platforms.
• Oversee system configuration, API components, integrations, and reporting functions.
Cross-Functional Partnership
• Act as a technical liaison between internal technology teams, Finance & Accounting stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
• Collaborate with business owners to define requirements and configure or customize systems to improve efficiency.
• Work with source system owners to anticipate and manage changes that impact financial systems or processes.
• Support acquisition due diligence related to system integration, cost assessment, and capability requirements.
Reporting & Data Quality
• Maintain and enhance the Corporate Financial Data Repository—ensuring dashboards, standard reports, and ad hoc analytics are accurate and meaningful.
• Build and maintain reports for Finance and business stakeholders; provide data analysis and troubleshooting support.
Continuous Improvement & Documentation
• Evaluate financial systems to surface both operational and financial improvement opportunities.
• Test and validate enhancements before production deployment.
• Develop and maintain documentation including process workflows, data and systems diagrams, support guides, and audit-ready artifacts.
Training & Support
• Provide training and day-to-day system support; assist with role management, permissions, and system controls.
• Provide occasional after-hours support for code deployments or critical updates.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years in a Financial Systems Analyst or comparable financial technology role.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations—including customization, configuration, and development.
• Solid understanding of general ledger and core accounting systems and processes.
• Experience with cloud-based software platforms.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills—you can translate between business and technical audiences.
• Experience in a mid-to-large enterprise environment.
• Familiarity with Concur for expense and travel management.
• Working knowledge of ETL processes.
• SQL proficiency.
