Software Engineer (Contingent Workforce Assignment)

Location: Charlotte, NC
About the Role

In this contingent role, you will contribute to the design, development, and execution of software solutions that support key engineering initiatives. You'll partner closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to solve moderately complex technical challenges, evaluate multiple solution paths, and ensure high-quality delivery aligned with organizational standards.
What You'll Do
  • Participate in and consult on engineering initiatives involving moderately complex technical requirements.
  • Analyze software engineering problems that require evaluation of multiple variables and propose effective, scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to issue resolution by applying strong knowledge of engineering principles, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client engineering personnel to support project objectives and deliverables.
  • Support planning for larger engineering projects by providing technical insights and recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrated through professional work, consulting, military experience, structured training, or education.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python development
  • Experience with Python-based machine learning workflows, tools, or frameworks
