ECS is seeking an Enhanced Exploit and Vulnerability Team Lead to work in Windsor Mill office.
Position Responsibilities:
The EEVDS Team Lead will support a wide array of information system projects and security technologies in a highly federated government environment. Primary responsibilities will include day-to-day leadership and EEVDS program management across multiple deployment engagements. Duties will include providing quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, employee mentoring, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.
Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
Leading a team of EEVDS analysts in the delivery of Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services for toolsets supporting an enterprise vulnerability management program
Working with security engineers, managers, and federal clients to remediate operational issues, operate EEVDS tools, and lead the team in the performance of EEVDS operational duties
Coordinating the project plan for the deployment, integration, and testing of EEVDS enterprise toolsets and services
Managing stakeholder expectations through direct client interfacing and building relationships across multiple components within agency organizational units
Assisting the contracting office and federal EEVDS team in the day-to-day execution of the implementation of the DHS EEVDS Program, Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III toolsets
Interpreting federal policies and directives to write requirements, statements of work, and implementation cost analysis
Providing on-going support to all DHS EEVDS partner vendors to maintain and improve the functional processes to introduce additional data sources for integration
Working with the DHS EEVDS contractor to develop the delivery approach and technical aspects for the integration of IBM BigFix, RES Workspace Manager, ForeScout CounterACT, and SPLUNK in the enterprise
Interpreting DHS EEVDS requirements in order to provide expertise in all areas of EEVDS compliance, requirements, and knowledge gathering
Managing and coordinating the development of agency specific DHS EEVDS documentation
Leading deployment meetings, the review of network topologies, and project implementation to place EEVDS sensors in key datacenters to gain visibility in assessing the enterprise security posture
Coordinating the development of technical documentation including detailed system designs, maintenance plans, and standard operating procedures
Working with the agency's policy team to develop continuous authorization policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) of agency FISMA systems
Developing and continuously reviewing EEVDS operating policies, guidelines, and standards for the planning, development, integration, implementation, and evaluation of security tools in the enterprise
Continually evaluating current system security posture, monitors activities, and assesses the security awareness knowledge of staff as it relates to assigned areas of responsibility
Provides leadership and oversight for special project teams engaged in analyzing, researching, proposing, and revising network security technologies and solutions that effects multiple working groups/teams
Salary Range: $146,599.00 - $179,176.00

Required Skills
Job Requirements:
Strong understanding of the DHS EEVDS program requirements, phases, and scope for each phase
Proven experience in managing large enterprise deployments
8+ years of IT related experience of which;
o 4 years are IT related experience specific to security
o 2 years are hands-on experience working with EEVDS requirements
Good understanding of Security related policies, procedures, regulations, and directives, specifically; NIST SP 800-37, NIST SP 800-53 rev4, NIST SP- 800-137, CMS ARS 3.0, and CMS TRA 2.0 Volume II - Network Services
Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
Able to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel
Able to work with people of varied technical backgrounds and management levels
Proven technical integration skills
Ability to handle pressure and multiple competing priorities
Bachelor's of Science/Arts
Desired Skills
Additional Experience Preferred:
Experience with the implementation/deployment of ForeScout, Tripwire IP360, BigFix, McAfee, Tenable Security Center, and Tenable IO
Experience developing and implementing higher-level IT security requirements, such as those resulting from laws, regulations, and or presidential directives
Experience as a senior security, systems engineer, administrator, or lead in a US federal government operating environment, interfacing with federal division directors and CISO level agency executives on a regular basis
Certifications/Licenses:
PMP, CISSP, Security+, Network+, HCISSP desired
Master's degree or equivalent experience in a computer-related field desired
