As a Team Lead (Product Delivery Manager), you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to product managers, portfolio owners, and senior leaders. This role is pivotal in driving successful delivery of complex, high-impact digital products across multiple agile teams. You will combine strong leadership, technical fluency, and domain expertise to ensure seamless execution, alignment, and stakeholder engagement.
While your primary responsibility is not coding, you must possess the ability to read and write code, understand technology artifacts such as design documents & runbooks, when necessary and demonstrate deep understanding of technology and business domain. You will lead two or more cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability to deliver business value at scale.
Responsibility Summary:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
•5+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale projects with a high level of complexity
•5+ years of product management experience or engineering/Technical lead
•Good understanding of one or more tech stacks such as microservices, Rest APIs (example - Spring Boot / Java), React, Cloud (Azure preferred)
•Broad understanding of technical delivery aspects such as SDLC, DevOps, SRE, Quality Engineering
•Working understanding of Agile methodologies such as Agile, Kanban, SAFe, or equivalent
•Ability to build strong relationships with technical, product, and business stakeholders
•Previous project management and leadership experience preferred.
•A bachelor''s degree is preferred; MBA or graduate degree a plus.
•Project management certification (PMP) a plus.
•Agile certification a plus.
Additional Qualifications needed:
•Experience leading technical teams and mentoring project team members and technical leads.
•Experience in planning and execution of Agile Transformations will be a plus.
•Superior interpersonal and communication skills; effectively communicates with project team, other project leaders, multiple areas, divisions and outside vendors. Incorporates effective listening and collaboration skills.
•Superior presentation skills preferred.
•Superior organization and coordination skills.
•Ability to independently identify, prioritize, monitor, communicate, and/or resolve risks, issues or elements that can impact a product.
•Experience leading idea cost / benefit reviews.
•Own and accountable for product engineering functions, delivery milestones, risks, metrics, and status to stakeholders and executives.
•Lead planning, prioritization, and execution across multiple agile teams; manage interdependencies and delivery risks.
•Act as a trusted advisor (“Chief of Staff”) to Product Leadership, streamline communications, protect focus, and enable clear decisions.
•Continual strategy setting and evaluation of delivery team structure in alignment with firm need
•Build strong partnerships and relationships with Business, Product Team, QA, UX, PMO and Enterprise Architecture
•Drive intake from idea to backlog (Epics/Features)
•Enforce best practices in tooling and operations.
•Bring strong understanding of project / team financials, budget management & tracking
•Manage engineering team, mentor technical leads and engineers, set onboarding plans, and foster accountability and continuous improvement.
•Drive cross-product, cross-portfolio, and cross-program collaboration to address interdependencies, ensure high levels of engagement & stakeholder alignment
•Drive collaboration with project leader / Team Lead peers to model and influence best practices, share feedback and lessons learned.
•Establish onboarding plans for new resources, ensuring they have access to the right tools, people, and information for faster productivity
