Position Purpose:
The Senior Project Manager, Plasma leads delivery of strategic I&T initiatives from inception through implementation and is accountable for scope, schedule, budget, quality and realized business outcomes. Success in the role depends on building trusted relationships with stakeholders at every level while holding delivery teams firmly to their commitments.
Reporting Relationships:
Reports to the Plasma Portfolio Manager (PPPM organization), who sets role expectations and provides guidance on process, methodology and tools. Partners with the Plasma Business Partner to deliver the projects in that portfolio. No direct reports. Leads matrixed project teams drawn from I&T, business functions and vendor partners.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Lead end-to-end delivery of assigned projects within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality and business outcome expectations, coordinating cross-functional and geographically distributed teams. Typically manages 2-3 concurrent projects with individual budgets up to $10M.
Develop, maintain and execute the Project Management Plan, covering objectives, scope, delivery approach, governance, team structure, roles and resource requirements. Manage the schedule, milestones, deliverables, dependencies and critical path.
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to establish and sustain alignment on project objectives, priorities, requirements and expected outcomes.
Run project governance, including status reporting on standard CSL templates, steering committee engagement, decision management and escalation. Give stakeholders a transparent view of project health, progress, risks, decisions and required actions.
Lead risk, issue and dependency management, including mitigation planning, escalation and resolution. Track performance against measurable KPIs and act on variances before they affect delivery.
Manage project financials, including forecasting, accruals, budget tracking, variance analysis and reporting. Review the budget and plan with required stakeholders on a regular cadence and route any projected overrun through the exception process before it occurs.
Manage change requests and baseline adjustments through the required approvals, and keep project data, schedules, resource allocations, risks, issues and financials accurate and current in Clarity.
Meet I&T project management standards, governance frameworks, methodologies and data quality requirements, and maintain project documentation in the approved collaboration platforms.
Lead project closeout, including post-implementation review, lessons learned, benefits tracking and transition to operational support.

Position Qualifications and Experience Requirements:
Education
Bachelor's degree required, in a technical or business discipline
PMP, PMI-ACP or Six Sigma preferred
Experience
7+ years IT experience, including 5+ years managing IT projects end to end
Experience delivering IT projects in a global, matrixed environment using formal project management methodology, techniques and tools (Jira, Clarity and CoPilot)
Experience working in a GxP-regulated environment
Demonstrated ability to influence senior management and other critical stakeholders
Pharma, biotech or comparably regulated industry experience desirable
