Description
We are looking for a senior-level IT Support Specialist to join our team in West Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will provide technical assistance to ensure the seamless operation of desktop environments and related systems. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering a fantastic opportunity to grow within the financial services industry.
Responsibilities:
Provide tiers 1-3 technical support to resolve hardware and software issues for end-users.
Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory accounts, including user access and permissions.
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft Windows 10 operating systems.
Respond to service desk tickets promptly and document resolutions for future reference.
Perform basic troubleshooting for network connectivity and peripheral device issues.
Utilize Intune for device management and support tasks.
Ensure compliance with company policies and IT standards during system setups and maintenance.
Collaborate with team members to address escalated technical problems and implement solutions.
Deliver exceptional customer service while addressing user concerns and inquiries.
Maintain accurate records of support activities and generate reports as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience in help desk or desktop support roles at a senior level, supporting escalated tickets in Tiers 1-3.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, including user account management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and troubleshooting system errors.
Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and workflows.
Experience with Intune for device management and configuration.
Ability to diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
