Role Overview
Blackstraw is expanding its North America partner ecosystem and seeking a high-impact Partner / Channel Sales Leader to drive revenue through strategic alliances across the USA & Canada. This role focuses on Cloud, Databricks, and Modern Data Platform partnerships.
The Partner / Channel Sales Leader will own the partner strategy, ecosystem expansion, and channel revenue growth for Blackstraw’s cloud and data offerings. You will collaborate with hyperscalers, Databricks, ISVs, and consulting partners to build scalable GTM motions.
This is a remote role supporting USA & Canada with travel involved and you will have the freedom to pursue opportunities across markets, industries, and regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and scale the partner ecosystem across North America
- Develop and execute joint GTM strategies with Cloud & Databricks partners
- Drive channel-led pipeline creation and revenue acceleration
- Manage partner relationships, enablement, and co-selling motions
- Identify new alliance opportunities to expand market reach
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and delivery teams
- Track KPIs, partner performance, and quarterly business reviews
- Represent Blackstraw in partner events, webinars, and field engagements
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 to 20 years in Partner / Channel Sales, preferably in cloud or data ecosystems
- Strong exposure to Databricks, Cloud (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform), and modern data platforms
- Proven experience driving revenue through partner-led motions
- Ability to influence C-suite, partner leadership, and technical stakeholders
- Strong understanding of cloud GTM models, marketplace motions, and co-sell frameworks
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with distributed teams across USA & Canada
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with hyperscaler partner programs
- Understanding of data engineering, AI/ML, or analytics solutions
- Experience in high-growth consulting or technology environments
- Ability to build structured partner business plans and execute them
