Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and robotic systems.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, P&IDs, and software specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for automation-related issues.
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies and industry best practices.
Recommended Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial automation, robotics, or controls engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi) and HMI/SCADA development.
- Demonstrated experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus).
- Experience with vision systems, sensors, and other industrial automation components.
- Ability to design, implement, and troubleshoot automation systems from concept to commissioning.
Bonus Qualifications- Experience with machine vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Familiarity with industrial IoT platforms and data analytics tools.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python for automation tasks and data manipulation.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for industrial control systems.
