FTT will require proof of status prior to employment. General Job Summary:The entry-level aerodynamics engineer will design and analyze aircraft mechanical, propulsion, component structures, systems, and processes. The engineer will carry out design and performance for new and redesigned turbine hardware, non-turbine engine structures, field failures and production support. You will be provided with personal mentoring and guidance from world-class turbomachinery engineers while transitioning your educational background to real-world application.
Essential Job Functions:- Perform airfoil design and computational fluid dynamics analyses for commercial, space, and military engine programs.
- Execute all phases of the aero-design process, from conceptual design through detailed analysis.
- Develop airfoil and flow-path geometry using CAD tools.
- Conduct computational fluid dynamics analyses to evaluate aerodynamic performance and optimize designs.
- Identify and resolve complex aerodynamic technical challenges.
- Conduct feasibility studies and testing on new or modified assemblies and components.
- Document changes through a formal engineering change notification process.
- Support testing and correlate analytical results with experimental data.
- Collaborate with a team on a diverse and technically challenging set of advanced programs.

Education and Experience:- BS/MS/PhD in applicable engineering field
