Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Informix-4GL Consultant to join our team and support a mission-critical ERP initiative. Our client operates a proprietary backend ERP system built on Informix-4GL and is expanding this system to multiple countries. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-impact project modernizing and extending a legacy platform for global scalability.
The ideal candidate has deep expertise with Informix-4GL, thrives in a collaborative environment, and can contribute to both development and implementation efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive hands-on experience with Informix-4GL in development and implementation.
- Proven experience building, customizing, and deploying ERP platforms using Informix-4GL.
- Strong understanding of international system rollouts and localization considerations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Genero, a low-code application development platform.
- International experience implementing Informix-4GL–based systems (treated as a high priority).
- Background in ERP modernization or system integration projects.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Enhance and expand the client''s existing ERP system to support additional countries.
- Develop, test, and deploy new modules and functionality within Informix-4GL.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and other consultants to ensure smooth rollouts.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring high reliability and performance.
- Document changes and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
