Top Requirements:5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent via work, consulting, training, or military service.Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).Complex Data Analysis experience, ideally supporting governance, metadata, or compliance initiatives.Strong Data Quality & Validation capabilities.Strong Technical Writing and documentation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience in data governance / data management concepts.Experience in testing or QA related to data or metadata.Experience with metadata & lineage (tools, processes, standards).Requirements gathering experience.Plusses:Regulatory & compliance experience - especially related to BSA/AML programs.Audit / Compliance experience.SQL (Microsoft SQL preferred).Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.Root cause analysis capability.Background supporting large data remediation or governance initiatives.Job Summary:This contingent Data Management Analyst 4 role provides
direct support to the BSA/AML Program.The analyst will contribute to complex data governance and metadata initiatives, focusing on data quality validation, metadata documentation, lineage analysis, compliance alignment, and reporting.
This role requires a strong analytical foundation, expertise in data governance concepts, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work across business, technology, and compliance stakeholders to support AML-related data initiatives.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Analyze and resolve complex data management and data quality challenges.
- Support BSA/AML data governance activities, ensuring compliance with data standards and risk expectations.
- Conduct data validation, profiling, lineage tracing, and complex analysis for data quality remediation.
- Document metadata, definitions, data flows, lineage maps, and governance artifacts.
- Perform Advanced Excel analysis and reporting for AML-related data controls.
- Support testing and QA activities tied to metadata, lineage, and quality rules.
- Gather and refine requirements from business partners, data stewards, technology teams, and compliance stakeholders.
- Support data governance processes across Commercial Banking & Lending with clear documentation and actionable insights.
- Assist in remediation planning and tracking for data quality or metadata gaps.
- Provide communication and updates to stakeholders, including preparation of analysis summaries and governance documentation.
- Conduct root cause analysis on data issues and propose solutions.
