Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and optimize application and infrastructure performance
Perform root cause analysis on system alerts, logs, and performance issues
Build and enhance observability frameworks, dashboards, and monitoring solutions
Improve alerting, logging, and system reliability practices
Collaborate with engineering teams on deployments and system enhancements
Support log analysis and performance tuning using observability tools
Contribute to automation and efficiency improvements through scripting
Work across cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines to support system health
Qualifications:
- Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent work experience (required)
- 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience, with strong knowledge of core services (EKS, EC2, S3, Landing Zone) and cloud infrastructure design
- Experience building and automating infrastructure using CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting (Python/Shell)
- Solid understanding of AWS networking, security, and access management (VPC, PrivateLink, Route53, IAM, KMS, SCPs)
- Proficiency with tools such as Jenkins, Git/Bitbucket, Artifactory, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
- Experience supporting cloud-based platforms across systems like Linux, containers, databases, and networking, with a focus on performance, security, and data flow
- Strong communication skills with a self-motivated, solution-oriented mindset; AWS Networking or Bedrock experience is a plus
Compensation and Benefits: The pay rate for this position is between $55.00 and $65.49 per hour. Please note that the final rate may be contingent on experience and other factors.
