Role Overview
This position supports an enterprise forecasting solution that aggregates data from multiple Front of House (FOH) systems. The role focuses on executing hands-on data validation, which includes ingesting source extracts, rebuilding logic using Alteryx and AI-assisted tools, comparing results, and documenting variances for remediation. This contractor will work in a matrixed environment with Finance and Technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute hands-on data validation processes by ingesting source extracts.
- Rebuild business logic using Alteryx and/or AI-assisted tools like Cursor AI and Snowflake Cortex AI.
- Compare results from source to destination systems to identify discrepancies.
- Document variances for remediation by technical teams.
- Build repeatable workflows for independent audits.
- Leverage AI toolsets to assist in analysis and logic reconstruction.
- Participate in re-test cycles after remediation efforts.
- Ensure all outputs meet consistent standards for reproducibility.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
Experience: Experience with data validation, data integrity, and data mapping is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle EPM Cloud, Smart View, or Excel-based planning/reporting extracts.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, cloud data warehouses, and finance/hospitality metrics.
- Prior work in regulated or audit-oriented data validation (e.g., SOX-adjacent, internal audit support, migration validation).
- Experience with enterprise data preparation platforms such as Dataiku or Alteryx.
- Alteryx Designer Core or Advanced certification, or an equivalent portfolio of work.
