Now Hiring: Electronic Technician (Marine Navigation Systems) - Direct Hire
Location: Williamsburg, VA
Pay Rate: $70,000 - $80,000/year
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Job Duties
- Maintain and troubleshoot shipboard navigation, communication, CCTV, automation, and safety systems
- Support and maintain computer networks and IT systems while following cybersecurity protocols
- Assist with maintenance of radar, GPS, ECDIS, and dynamic positioning systems
- Perform upgrades and repairs on electronic and computer-based equipment
- Coordinate and oversee electronic system work during shipyard maintenance periods
- Manage equipment inventories and documentation
- Support offshore deployments and vessel operations as needed
Experience Requirements
- Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Computer Science, equivalent military training, or related experience
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining electronic equipment
- Experience with computer network administration
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics
- Knowledge of RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 communication protocols preferred
- Experience with marine navigation systems preferred
- Security+ and GROL certifications preferred (GROL required after hire)
- Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work aboard vessels and travel internationally
- Capable of extended offshore deployments, up to two months at a time
