Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Holt seeking Applications Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for manufacturing applications and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to production software and hardware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new applications and features.
• Develop and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes and systems.
• Conduct training sessions for end-users on new applications and updates.
• Participate in the design, testing, and deployment of manufacturing IT solutions.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in applications engineering, technical sales, or field support, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, automation, and industrial control systems.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions for complex customer problems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with simulation tools.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with statistical process control (SPC) or other data analysis techniques for manufacturing.
• Familiarity with robotics, automation, or other advanced manufacturing technologies.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (e.g., Python) for data manipulation or automation.
