job summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support, optimize, and secure enterprise network infrastructure. This role is crucial in maintaining high system availability, scaling network architecture, and driving routing, security, and automation initiatives.

responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize enterprise core routing, switching, and security infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, and TCP/IP protocols across multi-vendor networks.
- Administer and update security platforms including Palo Alto, Fortinet, and Cisco ASA firewalls.
- Monitor network performance via SolarWinds and maintain up-to-date topology documentation.
- Support network automation initiatives using Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
7-10+ years of experience in network engineering within multi-vendor environments.
Deep technical expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, MPLS).
Hands-on experience configuring and maintaining enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
Proven understanding of ACLs, NAT, and core network security practices.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with SD-WAN, VXLAN, and EVPN virtualization technologies.
Familiarity with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
Experience utilizing SolarWinds or equivalent enterprise monitoring applications.
