Summary

Position Overview This position is within the OPWDD Dedicated Support team. The primary focus is converting legacy MS Access applications to SQL Server and PowerApps technologies. As an Expert Software Architect, you will be responsible for making high-level design choices, dictating technical standards, and designing multi-leveled architecture for large-scale software systems.

Day-to-Day Tasks

The selected candidate will manage all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for complex, multi-tiered applications, including:

Meeting with Business Owners to determine and analyze business/technical requirements.
Designing, developing, testing, and implementing new applications.
Performing data analysis, preparing logical database models, and creating database objects.
Identifying and escalating technical risks and issues appropriately.
Developing technical design documents and program specifications.
Providing guidance and mentorship to a team of developers.
Handling production support tasks, including troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Requested Qualifications

Qualification 1: 84 months experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting multi-tiered transactional applications (including UI/UX design, data processing, and security).
Qualification 2: 60 months experience in design and development of canvas and model-driven PowerApps by utilizing Microsoft Dataverse, SQL Server, or other databases as the backend.
Qualification 3: 60 months experience developing Microsoft PowerApps including canvas, model-driven, and portal applications driven from multiple data sources.
Qualification 4: 60 months experience developing applications or converting legacy applications using PowerApps, canvas, model-driven apps, Common Data Service (CDS), SQL, Flow, Excel, and SharePoint.
Qualification 5: 60 months experience using the Microsoft PowerPlatform (PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Power BI).
Qualification 6: 84 months experience designing complex common data models within SQL Server and advanced knowledge of relational database concepts.
Qualification 7: 24 months experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting MS Access applications
