Job Description:

Apex Systems is currently hiring a Systems Engineer for a global aerospace, defense, security, and technology company that will be onsite in Moorestown, NJ.

Project Details / Mission Supported:

As a Systems Engineer you will define, design, develop, and verifiy complex aerospace or defense systems throughout their lifecycle. Responsibilities include requirements management, system architecture definition, interface control, and integration/test, ensuring technical, cost, and schedule requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Systems Architecture & Design: Develop system architectures to define system states, modes, and functional interfaces.

Requirements Management: Develop, document, and manage subsystem requirements, ensuring they flow down to hardware and software components.

Integration & Verification: Support system integration, test, validation, and verification (V&V) to ensure performance requirements are met.

Technical Analysis & Risk: Perform trade studies, analyze performance, and identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks and dependencies.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, electrical, mechanical) and interface with stakeholders.

Documentation: Maintain configuration-controlled documentation, including Interface Control Documents (ICD) and engineering drawings

Required Skills:

5+ years of Systems Engineering experience

High proficiency in use of MATLAB and Python for data analysis

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, Physics or equivalent experience

Location: Moorestown, NJ

Onsite expectation: 100% onsite- 4/10 schedule

Clearance Level: Secret

Salary/Pay range: $60-70/hr
