Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Wartburg, Tennessee. In this long-term contract role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless connectivity for users. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to maintaining efficient IT operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on desktop support, including device management, software installations, and hardware troubleshooting.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to network connectivity, including LAN and WAN technologies.
Perform break-fix support for docking stations, PCs, and other hardware components.
Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with Office 365 applications and services.
Manage and document tickets in the support system, ensuring timely resolution of user issues.
Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and address network performance or equipment issues.
Configure and maintain network hardware, including switches and infrastructure components.
Assist with desktop imaging and operating system installations to ensure systems are up-to-date.
Support Active Directory environments by managing user accounts and permissions.
Collaborate with team members to enhance IT processes and deliver superior user support.
Requirements
Proficiency in troubleshooting desktop hardware, software, and operating systems.
Strong knowledge of network technologies, including LAN, WAN, and IP networking.
Experience working with Active Directory for user and group management.
Familiarity with Office 365 applications and their support processes.
Ability to use network monitoring tools to assess and address connectivity issues.
Solid understanding of network infrastructure, switches, and equipment.
Demonstrated ability to perform basic and advanced troubleshooting tasks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with users.
