  • Gather, analyze, and interpret business requirements for complex operational initiatives.
  • Perform business validation to ensure solutions align with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and validate test plans, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and provide business sign-off when appropriate.
  • Conduct data analysis, data mapping, reporting, and business process assessments.
  • Analyze operational and claims-related data to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to support strategic technology and operational initiatives.
  • Document business processes, workflows, requirements, and solution recommendations.
  • Communicate production impacts, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support configuration and implementation-related projects as needed.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to department best practices and process improvements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of Business Analyst experience preferred.
  • Sr. Business Analyst experience supporting healthcare operations, preferably within payer or claims environments.
  • Experience supporting production operations, not solely requirements gathering.
  • Strong business validation, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience partnering with IT, claims, business operations, and UAT teams.
  • Strong data analysis experience.
  • Experience with data mapping.
  • Strong analytical thinking and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience reviewing and approving test plans and validating UAT outcomes.

Technical Skills
  • SQL experience required, Microsoft SQL experience preferred
  • Experience with reporting, data analysis, and operational metrics.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable business recommendations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting member fulfillment functions, including:
    • Member ID cards
    • Member materials
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer operations and claims processing.
  • Familiarity with claims payment systems.
  • Experience supporting complex healthcare operational workflows.
  • Experience working with reporting and operational analytics teams.
  • Exposure to enterprise healthcare platforms and integrated systems.

Why Join?
  • Contract-to-hire opportunity with a growing healthcare organization.
  • High-visibility role supporting mission-critical operational functions.
