Job Description: The Contract Specialist plays a critical role in supporting CT s contract lifecycle by managing a highvolume contract request queue and ensuring timely, accurate processing of customer agreements. This role prepares and reviews daily and monthly contract reports, redlines customer agreements, and partners closely with Sales, Legal, and crossfunctional teams to drive deals to completion. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, a high degree of followthrough, and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
The ideal candidate is a quick learner, selfstarter, and selfsufficient professional who thrives in managing multiple moving parts with accuracy and dependability. Projectmanagement skills such as tracking tasks, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely followup are highly valuable.
Key Focus Areas:
- Daily management of a highvolume contract request queue
- Preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly contract activity reports
- Redlining and reviewing customer agreements for accuracy and compliance
- Coordinating approvals with Sales, Legal, and Operations
- Ensuring complete, organized contract documentation
- Providing responsive support on contractrelated inquiries
Requirements:
Education & Background
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field; Bachelor s degree preferred but not required.
- Equivalent professional experience in contracts, legal operations, or sales operations may be considered.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience in contract preparation, contract management, sales operations, or a related administrative/commercial role.
- Prior experience redlining agreements, reviewing terms, or working with customer contracts strongly preferred.
- Experience managing a highvolume workflow or queue in a fastpaced environment.
- Projectmanagement exposure (task tracking, followup, stakeholder coordination) is a plus.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word (redlining - track changes, version control, formatting).
- Ability to learn internal tools quickly (contract systems, Salesforce, SharePoint, One Drive, document repositories).
- Comfortable navigating contract management systems, workflow tools, and reporting dashboards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality control.
