Job Title: SCCM Engineer
Job Location: Jersey City, NJ
Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $53hr - $56hr
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise endpoint environments with a focus on Windows platforms, modern device management, and automation.
  • Drive stability, security, and performance through advanced engineering practices, while supporting global deployments and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Strong experience with Windows 11 OS and endpoint engineering.
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and Azure AD device management.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with MECM including deployments and task sequences.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
  • Experience with patch management, software distribution, and policy enforcement.

Responsibilities:

  • Engineer and maintain global Windows desktop environments ensuring performance and security.
  • Manage OS imaging, lifecycle, configuration baselines, and update strategies.
  • Lead complex troubleshooting using logs, diagnostics, and telemetry.
  • Design and manage Intune for device configuration, compliance, and application deployment.
  • Implement and manage Autopilot deployments and zero-touch provisioning workflows.
  • Integrate Intune with identity and security frameworks.
  • Administer MECM including task sequences, patching, and infrastructure optimization.
  • Automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.
  • Develop PowerShell scripts for automation, remediation, and reporting.
  • Monitor endpoint performance and improve user experience using digital experience tools.
  • Provide advanced support for escalated desktop issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and support global deployments.
  • Maintain documentation including runbooks and architecture diagrams.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives such as OS migrations and hardware refresh programs.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Experience managing enterprise endpoint environments.
  • Experience with modern device management and automation preferred.
  • Experience with digital experience monitoring tools preferred.
  • Experience working in global and large-scale IT environments preferred.
