Job Title : Android Mobile Developer

Position Overview

The Client is seeking a skilled Android Mobile Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of modern, data-intensive mobile applications. The successful candidate will work closely with the analytics team to deliver high-quality software solutions, ensuring robust functionality, efficient performance, and a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications, including modifying existing software to meet evolving functional requirements.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in accordance with established programming standards.

Develop and maintain user guides, operational instructions, and technical documentation.

Prepare test data, conduct software validation, and implement unit tests to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Collaborate with team members to organize tasks, delegate work, and ensure timely project delivery.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to optimize application performance.

Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve development processes.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proficiency in Android application development using Java and/or Kotlin.

Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and software design patterns.

Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, and JSON integration.

Familiarity with mobile architecture patterns such as MVC and MVP.

Experience with unit testing, debugging, and maintaining legacy code.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with iOS development frameworks and tools.

Familiarity with multiple package managers such as CocoaPods, Carthage, or Swift Package Manager.

Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

Willingness to learn new technologies and development approaches.
