This is an exceptional company seeking exceptional talent!
StaffRight Associates is strategically partnering with our premier client to appoint a high-caliber AWS Technical Solution Architect for a critical 12+ month W2 contract-to-hire engagement. Based in Charlotte, NC, this hybrid role (onsite Tuesday–Thursday) requires a developer-grounded architect to design and govern high-volume, event-driven AWS integrations within a rapidly scaling, multi-SaaS environment. As a W2 employee of oir client, you will spearhead an architecture-first, integration-heavy mandate—this is a position for a seasoned expert in AWS event-driven systems, not a DevOps or business architecture role.
Professional Scope & Responsibilities
In this capacity, you will operate with high technical authority, ensuring that all architectural designs remain within enterprise guardrails while managing high-throughput data flows. You will be responsible for defining the standards that dictate how external data enters, persists, and flows through complex systems.
Proactive Architecture Planning: Anticipate integration requirements before development cycles begin; design scalable API and event-driven communication patterns; and establish reusable architectural standards.
Design & Documentation: Construct detailed architectural diagrams and data flow patterns (API → Event Bus → Lambda → Downstream) specifically for high-volume integrations.
Event-Driven System Architecture: Engineer resilient, fan-out communication models leveraging AWS Lambda, Event Buses, Queues, and API integrations.
Technical Governance: Present architectural decisions to development teams, validate that implementations align with design intent, and evaluate technical standards to ensure production integrity.
Strategic Communication: Serve as the technical authority in meetings with business stakeholders and vendors, translating complex directions into clear, confident, and discreet professional guidance.
Qualifications and Requirements
Experience: A minimum of 3+ years as a seasoned Technical Solution Architect with a foundational background in software development (Python, C#, or Node.js).
Technical Mastery: Deep expertise in AWS event-driven integration and designing architectures for high-throughput systems (millions of transactions per hour).
Database & Integration: Proven experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL), third-party integrations, and complex API ecosystems.
Engineering Excellence: Comprehensive knowledge of strategic IT solutions, including CI/CD deployment and mature SDLC practices.
Core Competencies: Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work independently while maintaining high-impact communication across the organization.
