Job Description:
  • We are seeking a JDE Application Support Engineer to provide support, maintenance, and enhancement for JD Edwards applications, particularly within manufacturing modules.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience in incident management, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and performance.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and manufacturing modules.
  • Basic knowledge of PL/SQL.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with incident management and root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge of software support methodologies and bug tracking tools.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience:
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in application support or related role.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide application support by troubleshooting and resolving incidents and issues.
  • Log, track, and manage tickets, ensuring resolution within SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and contribute to permanent fixes.
  • Support software patches, updates, deployments, and testing activities.
  • Handle user onboarding and offboarding requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system issues.
  • Monitor application logs and system performance to identify bottlenecks.
  • Assist in development, testing, and deployment of customizations.
  • Troubleshoot production issues related to work orders, inventory, and BOMs.
  • Support requirements gathering and technical design documentation.
  • Assist with various testing activities including UAT and integration testing.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation.
  • Support data migration and integration with other enterprise systems.
Skills:
  • JD Edwards EnterpriseOne.
  • PL/SQL.
  • Incident management and troubleshooting.
  • Root cause analysis.
  • Application monitoring and performance tuning.
  • Documentation and reporting.
  • Communication and teamwork.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
